Securing a specialist commissioning lead with mobilisation to Korea

Taylor Hopkinson was engaged by the team behind a 500MW+ South Korean offshore wind project to deliver a Commissioning Manager. This individual would take the lead on the project’s commissioning preparations through development and into construction.

After a comprehensive search, interview and offer process, we worked hand-in-hand with our client to secure an experienced project hire who relocated to Korea from overseas on a long-term expat contract. This skilled Commissioning specialist also benefited from full support throughout the visa and mobilisation process, supported by our in-country global mobility experts.

Supporting a European renewables giant with Technical Leads in France

A major European offshore wind developer headquartered in Paris engaged Taylor Hopkinson to fill three Technical Lead positions on a 480MW project in France on a Contract basis.

Our client required relevant senior specialists for array cables, export cables and substations. Recruiting these positions was particularly demanding due to the required level of technical expertise for candidates and the relatively new offshore wind sector in France.

Our in-depth knowledge of the available talent pool allowed our team to quickly identify relevant candidates for each position with the ability, availability and willingness to relocate to Paris.

Providing technical specialists for a global renewables developer

For over 12 years, Taylor Hopkinson has worked with a leading European renewables consortium with offices in Madrid and Glasgow, successfully delivering over 150 roles across its renewables portfolio.

We have supported with senior offshore wind technical specialists at all project phases, including development, FEED, detailed engineering, fabrication, installation and commissioning across its European portfolio. We also recently mobilised personnel in Taiwan to support early stage development of its offshore wind projects there.
