About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Offshore Substation (OSS) Package Manager to take charge of the delivery of the OSS package for a major offshore wind farm project in Korea. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the offshore substation, from design and engineering to procurement, construction, transportation, and installation. Your role will be central in ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and adheres to all technical and regulatory standards. As part of this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with key stakeholders to achieve project objectives and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of the Offshore Substation (OSS) package, ensuring it meets the project’s overall goals and timelines
  • Manage the entire OSS package lifecycle, including design, procurement, fabrication, and installation
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the OSS package, including technical, commercial, and operational risks
  • Coordinate with project partners, government authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor the OSS package budget, identifying areas for cost savings while maintaining quality and safety
  • Oversee the procurement process, including contract negotiations and management with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, planners, and consultants to ensure timely and quality delivery of the OSS package

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

  • A degree in Engineering with significant relevant OSS project/package management experience in offshore wind
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects in the offshore wind sector
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to manage teams and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Expertise in offshore substations, high-voltage systems (HVAC/HVDC), power transmission, and marine construction
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to coordinate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Negotiation experience in managing procurement and contract processes
