Taylor Hopkinson is searching for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager for renewable energy projects for a big international EPC company.
The job location is Romania, with travels on site.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform inspection and maintenance tasks for PV plants.
- Report and solve problems effectively in the field.
- Prepare tender processes, analyze agreements, and contract work.
- Communicate with the local Distribution System Operator (DSO).
- Ensure work complies with Grid Integration Rules in collaboration with DSOs.
- Provide timely service and emergency responses.
- Diagnose faults and maintain PV systems.
- Conduct daily operations at the PV plant.
- Be ready to address critical faults immediately to sustain energy production.
- Supervise electrical work, measurements, and installations.
- Perform electrical work, measurements, and installations as part of services.
- Be available to work in a two-shift system.
Qualifications:
- Certified to perform electrical work and measurements for Low and Medium Voltage.
- Experienced in supervising teams.
- Holds a driving license and is prepared for service trips.
- Capable of reading construction and electrical blueprints.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experienced in implementing, auditing, and servicing power plants, distribution networks, and industrial facilities.
- Experience in the photovoltaic or wind sector is advantageous.
- Preferably holds a higher technical or electrical education.
- Skilled in team building and organization.
- Fluent in Romanian, both written and spoken.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
