Our company specializes in developing and operating renewable energy projects across Japan. With a strong portfolio, we manage solar and wind power plants, including offshore projects, while maintaining a focus on sustainable growth in partnership with local communities. Each project operates under its own Special Purpose Company (SPC), utilizing individual project financing and fund formation strategies.

We are seeking a Finance Manager/Assistant Manager to oversee group-wide cash management and fund operations, ensuring effective financial performance for ongoing and upcoming projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Forecast cash flow needs for individual projects and the overall group, ensuring necessary funds are secured.
  • Oversee group budgets and actuals, analyze variances, and prepare internal reports.
  • Monitor and report on fund investment activities.
  • Manage internal group funds and coordinate with banks on project financing for projects under construction.
  • Handle communication and coordination with fund investors.
  • Support project-related financing agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

Requirements

  • Experience in cash management and financial planning.
  • Proficiency in building and managing financial models using Excel.
  • Ability to create professional presentation materials using PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and proactive work execution.
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English (many project contracts are in English).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fund management or project finance.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy financing processes.
