Taylor Hopkinson is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a global leading renewable energy company which operates in utility scale projects.
Their office is located in Bucharest, Romania
Role:
- Compile the monthly closing consolidation package and conduct POC analysis.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis on financial reports, investigating significant fluctuations.
- Collaborate with the FD to prepare the annual budget for consolidated companies.
- Analyze deviations between actual costs and budgeted costs.
- Report key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business units.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Develop and implement new financial procedures in collaboration with the FD.
- Keep the Chart of Accounts for the entire group accurate and up-to-date.
- Oversee and coordinate daily treasury operations.
- Prepare and review regular cash flow and investment performance reports.
- Collaborate and report to the Finance Corporate Team.
- Participate in the annual audit review and address any issues.
- Engage in new systems/ERP integration and handle ad hoc finance projects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Finance.
- Analytical thinking.
- Teamwork skills.
- Autonomy and proactivity.
- Strong experience in Financial Modelling / Analytical Tools;
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and BI is an advantage;
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles (IRS) and processes;
- Ability to work in decentralized finance structure;
- Strong communication capabilities both written and oral including fluency in English;
- An analytical mindset and a self-starter, being able to see opportunities, solve problems independently and support the evolving needs and structure;
- Knowledge of the renewables industry is an advantage.
