As an Electrical Superintendent you work closely with the Technical Superintendent to prepare dockings and repairs to the electrical equipment. You communicate between the crew on the ships, suppliers, other specialist colleagues and project employees.
Your Workplace
As Electrical Superintendent you are part of the team with other Electrical Superintendents, Technical Superintendents and Project Engineers. This pool of colleagues is based in our office in Rotterdam. The team you will be working in supports the (existing) fleet. This means that you are involved in the maintenance and modifications for the electrical installations on board ships and equipment.
Skills
- You advise the Technical Superintendent on the daily situation regarding electrical systems of our ships.
- You determine the requirements for the electrical installations based on the project requirements.
- You advise on technical solutions to achieve the project goals.
- You test the technical proposals of suppliers against the requirements.
- You support the crew with electrical problems on board.
About you
- You have a minimum HBO working and thinking level (preferably in the direction of electrical engineering)
- You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in the maritime sector);
- You master the English language in word and writing
