We are currently looking for a Design Manager to join our Technical & Procurement team.

Your role will encompass

  • Electrical systems Design Execution, review, and technical sign off
  • Preparation and sign off of Project BoQ relative to design
  • Involvement in all development stages of PV projects by execute or lead the execution the design and engineering aspects of all stages
  • Lead, coordinate a team of engineers and review the design output as a part of T&P Department processes under overall projects milestones scheduling
  • Responsible for the technical (engineering) review of the bidding drafting of PV projects and technical compliance guidance.
  • Contract preparation of the engineering/technical annexes
  • Equipment procurement: define equipment specifications and participate in technical review of suppliers offers
  • Support the Project Management and Construction teams in regard to the technical details of design, back office support. Occasionally site visits may required per case.
  • Grid regulations review. Work with local consultants for projects around the world to derive the scope of supply and scope of works

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Engineering, or related Engineering fields
  • Possess 3+ years of experience in similar role
  • Professional experience with international clients and projects in the Solar Market is desirable
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Capable of effectively conveying ideas, facts, and technical information to various levels of management and technical teams
