Using our dedicated network, we quickly placed a Senior Sales Manager (BESS) for the UK market and another for the USA market, building trust in our capability with our client. This led to Taylor Hopkinson becoming their preferred supplier.

We were then assigned new technical roles, including a Product Lead for the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sector. A challenging role requiring relocation, we delivered a strong technical candidate from Samsung in Austria, who relocated to Athens—a dream come true for him to work abroad. We also delivered a BESS Engineering Director from Canada who relocated his entire family to Greece.

These successful placements further strengthened our client relationship, resulting in a further three new retainer assignments to deliver a BMS Project Lead, BESS Engineering Manager, and Product Lead for Utility.

A leading European infrastructure fund, aiming to enter the UK BESS market, engaged Taylor Hopkinson for a retained search to find a Project Development Director.

After a comprehensive nationwide search, we presented an exceptional and diverse shortlist, exceeding the client’s expectations. Recognising an additional need, the client then retained us to find a Commercial Director with specific BESS experience in the UK, focusing on optimization and commercial expertise.

We conducted the search and facilitated in-person interviews for local candidates, enabling a personal and effective approach. This allowed us to leverage our network and ensure a strong connection with top-tier talent, successfully meeting the client’s strategic needs.

Taylor Hopkinson have delivered a retained search for two of critical position for their Battery Storage for Construction and Procurement function to build Europe’s two largest grid-connected battery storage facilities 400MW/800MWh each.

Timing was crucial as the client had projects nearing the construction stage and having previously reached out to the market with no luck and as such were in need of urgent assistance.

We immediately reached out to our existing network whilst at the same time began headhunting throughout the noted regions and were able to confidently deliver a strong shortlist of candidates for consideration one week from taking on the role, leading to the successful placement of their new Senior Construction Manager one week later.

We were retained by a leading energy storage business created by investors Macquarie Green Investment Group and CBI to source and select its new Managing Director for the EMEA region.

Our client develops, builds, owns and operates battery storage assets across EMEA and APAC. This was a critical role with a remit to support its ambitious growth plans in EMEA.

A typically hard-to-fill role, our client required a candidate with a solid background in project execution. Having searched an EMEA-wide talent pool, we were able to source a C-level hire with project execution and delivery experience in battery storage and solar, with multi-disciplinary leadership experience.

Taylor Hopkinson was engaged by global BESS manufacturer to conduct a full search of the USA market for Sales Directors and Business Developers.

This was a part of their ongoing global growth plan developing their Energy Storage pipeline across North America in order to further capitalise on their success in the European market.

Having successfully engaged with the majority of those individuals we have built and maintained a network of the key business development and sales players in the US energy storage market.

Taylor Hopkinson was appointed to search for a Head of Operations and Asset Management as part of the team restructure and growth plan for leading energy storage fund.

We were able to draw upon our network and quickly identify relevant individuals and bring them into the process. This led to the placement of a strong candidate within a tight time frame, enabling our client to recruit an impressive team to support this new leader, which ensured that their operational growth and asset function plan was achieved.

Following this successful hire, we went on to deliver the Lead Project Manager role and two additional Asset Managers.
