Project Planner – Cable Installation required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Client based in The Netherlands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
- Establish project milestones, deadlines, and timelines for each phase.
- Define project tasks and allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives.
- Track project progress against the schedule, identify delays, and suggest corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports and dashboards to update stakeholders regularly.
- Monitor resource usage and adjust plans as needed to prevent bottlenecks.
- Identify potential risks or scheduling conflicts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Update the project risk register and communicate risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze the impact of delays or changes on the overall project timeline.
- Liaise with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to align schedules and expectations.
- Facilitate meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, and revise plans as necessary.
- Ensure alignment between planning efforts and project goals.
- Assess resource requirements and coordinate resource allocation across multiple projects.
- Optimize the use of personnel, materials, and tools to ensure efficiency.
Requirements
- Demonstrable higher vocational intellectual and professional level e.g. bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business administration, construction management, or a related field.
- Preferably 3-5 years of work experience in a similar position and/or in a project-based environment.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
- Based in the Netherlands, commutable distance to Rotterdam.
