This was a significant placement as the FD role is the most senior permanent member of our client’s team in Korea, and will play an integral part in its growth beyond this particular project.

Having delivered worked with our client, a leading global renewables developer, to deliver its first in-country Finance Director role, we were then able to support the local team build, placing a further three finance positions in 2023.

We were contacted by a leading offshore renewables developer in Korea who were having difficulty finding the right candidates for a hard-to-fill position that had been open for some time. Our local team worked quickly and was able to deliver a senior expat WTG Package Manager based in South Korea.

We were able to navigate a difficult market where many candidates had already been approached to source an extremely strong candidate who had a good relationship with TH as a previous client. Supporting finance team build across South Korea, Japan and Taiwan

We were initially engaged by one of Taylor Hopkinson’s global client accounts to deliver a Senior Finance Lead position for its APAC team.

This was a strategically important role, responsible for implementing all financial processes for the whole APAC region as well as building a strong team across its key locations in Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.

We have since been able to work in partnership with the new team lead to secure ‘key permanent hires across the region including APAC Finance Controller & two Senior Finance Controllers.
